The Fresno Community & Economic Development Partnership (CEDP) is looking for a community-minded person who’s interested in investing in community development work by supporting CEDP’s 12 organizations with part time back office assistance.
CEDP focuses on connecting and helping to build the capacities of resident-driven neighborhood and community organizations and the overall civic infrastructure needed in Fresno to address high concentrated poverty, racial and socio-economic inequities, urban decay and disinvestment, inadequate public facilities, services, transportation, and affordable housing, low job skills and workforce readiness, need for entrepreneurship training and community lending, disparities in access to healthy foods and health care, and more. The current 12 Member Fresno CEDP includes: Fresno Metro Ministry/Better Blackstone CDC; Every Neighborhood Partnership; Lowell Neighborhood CDC; Chinatown Fresno Foundation; Saint Rest EDC; Southwest Fresno Development Corp; Addams Neighborhood CDC; Highway City CDC; El Dorado Park Neighborhood CDC; Fresno Area Community Enterprises; Jackson Neighborhood CDC; South East Fresno Community Economic Development Association.
