As part of the Women’s Studies Feminist Activism Class’s project focusing
on Fresno’s Transgender community’s experiences of homelessness and
everyday violence, the students are working with members of the Trans
community and Trans-E-Motion to document their experiences through
storytelling and photography.

The photographs collected will be displayed at Common Space’s Art Night and
will be up for the entire month.

The Feminist Activism Class will also be launching the completed
Transgender Housing Report at this Event. This report focuses on the
barriers to housing and the experiences of homeless/houseless Transgender
individuals.

We will also be celebrating the end of POWER’s Hygiene Kit Drive for LGBTQ+
Homeless Youth.

Please join us for this special event dedicated to amplifying the voices of
the Trans community on this important issue.
