We’ve been on the road since Wednesday meeting with homeless union leaders
in Chico, marching through the streets of Sacramento, and listening to the
testimonies of directly impacted people from the Bay Area discuss
homelessness, mass incarceration, and the criminalization of poverty.
And we’ve only just begun.
*Next, we are coming to Fresno, CA on April 8th for our Statewide Poor
People’s Public Hearing.*
As moral leaders impacted by poverty, deeply committed to community and
transformation, we would like to invite you to listen deeply at this
convening of leaders from eight different regions to discuss the current
policy violence of poverty, racism, ecological devastation and
militarization which has distorted the moral narrative of our state.
After Fresno, the California Truth & Poverty Tour will be in Pacoima,
Pomona, Orange County and San Diego County
to continue to shine a light on the plight, fight, and insight of the poor
across California, and the real national emergencies that require immediate
