Dr. España-Nájera and Dr. Dvera Saxton are pleased to announce that we’ll
be hosting a special *Know Your Rights Workshop* for students, faculty,
staff, and members of the greater campus community on *Wednesday, October
24th, from 6-8 PM in Library 3212*. *Know Your Rights: Voting, Citizenship,
and ICE Encounters* will feature Giselle Gasca from Mi Familia Vota and
Brisa Cruz from California Immigrant Justice Youth Alliance (CIJYA), who
will present attendees with important information about how to protect
themselves and their families in these turbulent times. This workshop is
sponsored by the College of Social Sciences, the Departments of
Anthropology and Chicano and Latin American Studies, and the California
Faculty Association–Fresno State Chapter. All participants welcome. If you
