Opportunities in Public Policy for Summer and Fall with Community Water Center of Visalia

Posted On 3 May, 2018

Attached are the internship opportunities for this summer at Community
Water Center. We are still working hard on passing the Safe and Affordable
Drinking Water Fund legislation (SB623 – Monning) which has also been taken
up by Governor Brown as a Budget Trailer Bill (BTB). If the BTB passes, it
would be this summer in June. We will have a rally and other opportunities
to travel to Sacramento and lobby legislators. And If the BTB doesn’t work
out, we will still be trying to push it as SB623 for the end of the
legislative session in September. Either way, it should be an exciting
summer to intern with CWC!

We are open to providing matched funding for a Community Service
Scholarship, if that is available and a student qualifies for that.
